A normal 23.29 percent citizen turnout was enrolled till 11 am during surveying for by-decisions to eight Assembly situates in Gujarat on Tuesday.
Casting a ballot will proceed till 6 pm in 3,024 surveying stalls of these eight seats.
The by-decisions to these seats were required after the sitting Congress MLAs surrendered in front of the Rajya Sabha surveys held in June this year.
According to an official delivery by the Election Commission, 23.29 percent of the complete 18.75 lakh electors practiced their establishment between 7 am and 11 am.
Darn, a Scheduled Tribe (ST)- saved seat timed 39.60 percent turnout in four hours, trailed by Limbdi 25.77 percent, Morbi 24.15 percent, Karjan 22.95 percent, Abdasa 22 percent, Gadhada 21.74 percent, Kaprada 17.26 percent and Dhari 16.04 percent.
To stop the spread of COVID-19, expendable hand gloves are being given to every citizen at the surveying stalls. PTI
